These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Recurbills websites, applications, and related services that help users organize invoices and manage recurring payments and subscriptions (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, accessing the Services, or clicking to accept these Terms where presented, you agree to be bound by them.
If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity and “you” refers to that entity.
1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Services. If you allow minors in your household to access features, you are responsible for their use and for any information submitted about them in accordance with law.
2. Accounts and registration
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security risk.
3. The Services
Recurbills provides tools to store and organize invoices, record subscription and recurring payment information, set budgets and categories, attach metadata such as tags and payment method labels, and receive alerts through supported channels (such as push notifications, email, or WhatsApp where available).
Features may evolve over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice where material. Free trials or promotional access may be offered without requiring a payment card; specific terms may be presented at signup.
4. User content
You retain rights to content you upload or enter (“User Content”). You grant Recurbills a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and create backups of User Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Services as described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that its processing does not violate third-party rights or applicable law. You should avoid uploading highly sensitive credentials (such as full card numbers or government IDs) unless explicitly requested through secure, purpose-built flows.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or harmful activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, other users’ data, or probe vulnerabilities.
- Reverse engineer, circumvent technical limits, or overload the Services.
- Use the Services to distribute malware, spam, or infringing material.
- Misrepresent identity, impersonate Recurbills staff, or misuse official communication channels.
6. Third-party services and integrations
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms (including messaging or analytics providers). Your use of those services is subject to their terms. Recurbills does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability or practices.
7. Fees and payments
Certain plans may be offered free of charge or on a paid basis. Where fees apply, you authorize us or our payment partners to charge the applicable amounts according to the plan you select. Taxes may apply. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated at purchase.
8. Intellectual property
Recurbills and its licensors own all rights in the Services, brand assets, and underlying software, excluding your User Content. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are granted.
9. Confidentiality and security
We implement reasonable safeguards; however, you acknowledge that no service is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining device security and protecting account credentials.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RECURBILLS DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, TAX, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE. ANALYTICS AND BUDGETS ARE BASED ON INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE AND MAY NOT REFLECT ACTUAL BANK OR CARD ACTIVITY UNLESS YOU CONNECT SUCH DATA THROUGH A DOCUMENTED INTEGRATION.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL RECURBILLS OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO RECURBILLS FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FEES.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Recurbills and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or where required by law. Upon termination, certain provisions survive, including Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.
14. Governing law and disputes
Unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise in your jurisdiction, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction Recurbills designates in product-specific terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where you have non-waivable rights to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example by email or in-product notification). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
